Privileged Midwives (PMW) have practices of their own in locations anywhere in the area and attend their client's births at the Renton Birth Center when their clients wish to.

In addition to births, Privileged Midwives have access to:

--Request ultrasound appointments for their clients

--Request evaluation and treatment from the ARNP and ND team as needed for their clients

--Access to on-call Birth Assistants

--Listing on our website

--Reimbursable BA stipend per birth 

--Access to supportive chart review in community with peers who want to learn with and promote each other's work

The Process:

--Complete your application

--Your application will be reviewed by two of your peers within two weeks

If accepted: 

--Submit all required documents

--Complete all required trainings

--Receive notice of active credential

Fees:

$250 per midwife annually covers administrative fees for onboarding
