5 Steps to Start Care

1     You decide: Meet and Greet Q & A or Jump into Care

Whether you want a tour, have questions, or are ready to enroll in care--we are here for you. Book online or in-person, your choice! Schedule online now for an in-person visit or for a virtual meeting.

2     First Trimester Ultrasound and Labs

Your first ultrasound provides a crucial safety net, assuring you that your pregnancy is safe. It provides accurate pregnancy dating and gives you first pictures of baby!  Ultrasounds are scheduled on Friday mornings and Tuesday afternoons.  Your first ultrasound and lab work are scheduled after the completion of the online orientation.   We offer a cash pay optional lab starting at six weeks if you would like to know the sex of your baby.  This is not a genetic screen which can be completed after 10 weeks of pregnancy.

3     First Prenatal Visit

Your first visit with a midwife between 6 and 9 weeks includes a review of your ultrasound, labs, and creating an individualized plan for your health and a road map for your care.  We'll get to know each other, hear your goals, answer your questions, and get you started on the correct vitamins to support your pregnancy and growing baby.

4     Registration Fee

We have a one-time registration fee of $500. This fee is waived for Apple Health members. This is industry standard and runs between $500 and $1000 at local birth centers. Our biller can roll this into your payment plan.

5     Village Care:  Your Path to Success

Our practice is designed around our signature program, Village360©. We wrap you with care from a trusted circle of providers:  midwives, nurses, physicians, mental health practitioners, educators, and beloved staff.  And we do it all in community.  While individual visits are available and part of all care plans, we highly recommend joining Village Prenatal Care and utilizing our weekly Village Lactation drop-ins.  You won't believe how helpful it is to go through this experience with other people who are doing what you are doing. And how good it feels to be surrounded by a team of providers who believe you, believe in you, and are here for you.
